The Chica and Heinz Schaller Foundation Award in Translational Neuroscience
In collaboration with the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) the Chica and Heinz Schaller Foundation has launched “The Chica and Heinz Schaller Foundation Award in Translational Neuroscience”. This award will recognise significant achievements by an individual in translational science, and in particular those where fundamental and conceptual understanding of the nervous system have been brought to support clinically relevant progress.
The Chica and Heinz Schaller Foundation Award for Distinguished Achievements in Virology
In collaboration with the Society of Virology (GfV) the Chica and Heinz Schaller Foundation has launched “The Chica and Heinz Schaller Foundation Award for Distinguished Achievements in Virology”.This award will recognise outstanding achievements by an individual that contributed exceptionally to the field of virology either in basic or translational research, ideally in both fields, in a national and an international context.
Travel Award for the FENS Forum
The Chica and Heinz Schaller (CHS) Foundation supports equity and diversity in the context of the FENS Forum 2024 through the sponsorship of ALBA-CHS travel grants. These grants will offer distinguished young scientists in the brain sciences the opportunity to attend the FENS Forum 2024, taking place on 25-29 June 2024 in Vienna, Austria.
